Randall Ritchey: Blues Host Rangers In Season Opener
The 2014-15 season is set to begin tonight for the St. Louis Blues as they host the New York Rangers on home ice. Tonight, fans will get a first look at a few new Blues. Paul Stastny will make his regular season debut, as will Joakim Lindstrom.
The Blues have a lot of old faces in the line up, but it's a new look for the entire group. |

FYI. JR just reported that Gunnar is cleared for contact and that JayBo is just "fixing leaks" and will play tonight according to Hitch. |

Patrik Berglund - David Backes -TJ Oshie
Alexander Steen - Paul Stastny - Vladimir Tarasenko
Jaden Schwartz - Jori Lehtera - Joakim Lindstrom
Steve Ott - Maxim Lapierre - Ryan Reaves
Dang Hitch and his constantly juggling lines...Tank and Lehtera go together like peanut butter and jelly, lol.
Interesting that Hunwick can't crack the top 6. |

Hope that Paul Stastny, Jori Lehtera, and Joakim Lindstrom will be ok to play after going to the dentist |

Fyi
That does remind me that I need to see the dentist as I missed my appointment when I was in Colorado....

I think he said that he was going to start Lindstrom & Lehtera together earlier this week.
Don't worry, they will play together. |

In other news, from what I saw yesterday Roman had a strong start with the Loafs.
Sucks to see him without the note. |

We may be getting lucky facing you with the injuries. I wouldn't mind seeing you all again in June
Side note, we are going to catch a game on the Island this year before the NYI move. Go to many there? If so, any recommendations/thoughts? I assume we'll stay in the city and travel to the Island for it. |

Never been to a game on the Island. The Islanders thread would be able to give you some better info on that.
And yes I wouldn't mind playing you guys in June either |

Im torn tonight for my pool. I have everyone playing that no matter what 2 players who are playing tonight will be on my bench. I have narrowed it down between 3, Nugent-Hopkins, Kreider and Schwartz. I am already pretty much sold on putting Nuge on the bench so for my last spot its pretty much down to 2 guys playing each other tonight. |

I can help...Stay in Manhattan...take the train to the dump in Nassau, watch the game, get back on the train and party in Manhattan. There is nothing good near the Masoleum in Nassau. Oh, and I don't think there is a nearby train station so you'll need to take a cab. Good Luck and god speed. |

Thanks for the info. The plan was to stay in Manhattan and take a train up and then a cab over to the arena and something similar on the way back.. I was just wondering if there was a place that we should hit before or after the game near the arena. I've heard the area around the arena is not good at all. |

If you decide to catch a game in the garden I'd recommend checking out the breslin. Its a bar with sone amazing food. Their lamb burgers were featured on the food network. |
